Sachin Tendulkar

A Personalized Digital Autograph from BCCISachin Tendulkar

The master blaster is all set to retire from his 24 years long career. As a great fan of this legendary cricketer, I would like to thank him for all that he had done for cricket and the work he had been doing and would be doing apart from cricket.

The best thing about Sachin Tendulkar is that he’s completely rooted, down-to-earth and a thorough gentleman. He’s probably the best thing to have happened to Indian cricket and maybe Indian sport as a whole.

Few Quotes on this great man:

I have seen God, he bats at number four for India.” -former Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden

Outside grounds, people wait until he goes in before paying to enter. They seem to want a wicket to fall even though it is their own side that will suffer. This is cricket as Sachin has known it since the age of 16.” -former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne, the second-highest Test cricket wicket-taker of all time

I saw him (Sachin) playing on television and was struck by his technique, so I asked my wife to come look at him. Now I never saw myself play, but I feel that this player is playing much the same as I used to play, and she looked at him on television and said yes, there is a similarity between the two…his compactness, technique, stroke production… it all seemed to gel.
-Sir Donald Bradman, widely regarded as the greatest batsman in the history of cricket

He quoted the following once when quizzed about people still questioning him over his inability to make India win the matches:

When people throw stones at you, you turn them into milestones

……………..A Salute to this humble man and I am Proud to be an Indian !!
